The sources of traffic I will share with you today are paid advertising vehicles and from a personal perspective, I find these work very well in many cases.

I am also a fan of free sources such as Web 2.0 which includes social networking, social bookmarking, blogs and videos as these methods are the future of driving traffic.

However, for quick and massive volumes of traffic, nothing beats paid targeted high volume sources.

So let's get started.

Secret #1 - CPA Networks

If you have never heard of CPA (cost per acquisition) networks before then pay attention. This source of advertising is very successful and a solid vehicle to market your products. The premise of CPA networks is connecting publishers and advertisers with thousands of affiliates who market products online.

By plugging your offering into a CPA network, you gain access to literally thousands of affiliates who can sell your products for you. Two of my favorites are CPA Empire and Epic Marketing.

The costs depend on a variety of factors which you can negotiate with the CPA network (such as type of affiliates your offering will be available to or what the action will be that generates a paid commission to the affiliate) but a good ballpark estimate is a target acquisition cost in the low single $ digits per 'sale'.

Sales are defined by the action you require.

Examples are: a customer opt in to your splash page, an actual sale, a download of free software. You can decide what the action is that determines when you pay for the acquisition of that lead or customer.

You may have to start out funding a pool of commissions to pay out the affiliates within the CPA network but there area ways to buy into these programs on credit and start driving huge amounts of traffic to your sites immediately.
